It is only the first Wednesday of the PHC2 course and the students already have a fierce drive to see their respective houses win.
Tonight saw houses both Junior and Senior going head-to-head in a competition of spirit, wits, endurance and tactics with house points on the line along with early bragging rights.
The festivities began with a competition as to who could build the largest and most stable structure using only dry spaghetti and marshmallows!
Next came a more physical altercation… The tug of war, adding a little extra spice to the evening.
The next test, however, eliminated all physicality and individual intelligence relying solely on teamwork and more importantly (using English) communication! The houses were tied together and challenged to move to a specific point as quickly as they could.
Overall the occasion went extremely well, the children and staff all had a passion for their house which will only go stronger in the coming weeks. The cheers and screams from outside as it was going on made me personally extremely jealous that I was here inside with the blog!!!
our childrens seam to be so pleased with you…
thanks for the news here on the blog
